A friend of mine was having trouble sleeping due to anxiety and restlessness one night and asked me if yoga could help? I shared with them this relaxation technique. I use this in savasana (corpse pose were you lie on your back, legs straight, feet resting out, arms along side of body with palms facing up) to relax every part of my body and let go of thought. As you listen, for added effect tighten and relax the body part that you are being instructed to relax. By the end of it you will feel more relaxed and calm. Enjoy!
